Save the date for our Annual SAME Winter Holiday Social! Close out 2023 by joining your colleagues and friends for an evening of food, fun and celebration. This year’s Winter Holiday Social is being held at Rising Tide Tap & Table located at 523 Glen Cheek Drive, Port Canaveral, FL 32920. Spouses and guests are welcome. Admission is $10 for SAME members, $20 for non-SAME members and guests, and free for military and DoD civilians.

Wounded Warrior Fund 50/50 drawing tickets will be sold at the social, and the winning ticket will be drawn towards the end of the evening. The winner need not be present to win. Tickets can also be purchased by contacting John McGann at jmcgann@oescgroup.com.

The Post is looking for door prizes that will be raffled during the Social. Sustaining Member Firms and Individual Members are encouraged to bring gift cards, gift baskets, or other gifts for the drawing. Each donating company and individual will be recognized during the drawing.

SAME Space Coast Post will support this year’s Operation Precious Gift, continuing our annual tradition of helping military families who are overcoming obstacles in their lives. Our Post has been told that we make a real difference each year, so we encourage everyone to plan to bring one (or more) gifts to the Holiday Social. Gifts do not need to be wrapped. The Post also accepts cash gifts, which will go towards the purchase of gift cards.

We ask Post members to consider donating one or more of the following items:

    • Dinosaurs, Coco Melon, Ms. Rachel, Bluey, Ducktales, My Little Pony, unicorns, mermaids, Fortnite, Frozen, Roblox, Minecraft, Sesame Street, JoJo Siwa, stuffed animals
    • Sensory toys, Power Wheels, Hot Wheels, Lego sets or kits, robotics kit or set, model car/truck/plane building kits, toys building cognitive skills
    • Nerf guns, baseball mitt and gear, football
    • Drawing set, arts and crafts
    • Perfume, makeup, hair products
    • Video games, singing microphone, headphones, polaroid or disposable camera
    • Comic books
    • Clothes, shoes
    • Disney items
    • Soft chew toys
    • Baby items (e.g., diapers)
  • Gift cards for parents and families
    • Target, Walmart, Publix, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and other supermarkets and stores local to PSFB
    • Movie theaters and restaurants local to PSFB, like Texas Roadhouse (parents would appreciate a date night out)
    • Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes
    • Nintendo, Xbox, Apple, Game Stop
    • Hobby Lobby
    • Ron Jon’s
