Nominations for Post Veteran Awards
As a strong advocate of Veteran support including employment opportunities for veterans, transition to civilian life, and facilitating utilization of VOSBs and SDVOSBs, the Space Coast Post Awards Committee is accepting nominations for the Post Outstanding Veteran Employer Award and Post Outstanding Veteran Subcontracting Award. These awards recognize companies that place a priority on veteran hiring and providing subcontract opportunities to VOSB and SDVOSBs, respectively.
If you know of a company that prioritizes veterans in hiring and subcontract opportunities, please nominate them for either or both awards by sending that company’s contact information and a one- to two-paragraph narrative that highlights the company’s veteran hiring practices and results and/or utilization of VOSBs and SDVOSBs. Self-nominations are acceptable. The narrative may include suitable metrics to aid in the selection process. Nomination deadline is extended to December 15 2023.

The Post Awards Committee intends to recognize the “Top 3” companies for each award at an upcoming Post Meeting early next year.
